一、依據教育部體育署統計111年度全國發生學生溺水死亡人數達19人，本市學生因從事水域相關活動溺斃計2人。
二、因假期參與水域活動可能性提高，且學童參與水上活動多由家長帶領前往，然溺水危機不分場域及游泳能力高低，請家長共同提留意孩子動向，防範可能發生的危險，降低溺斃事件發生。
三、再次強調從事水域相關活動應注意事項：
(一)避開前往未設救生員之開放水域戲水游泳，如漁港、池塘、魚塭、水圳、溪流等；如有前往需請家長陪同、隨時留意學童狀況，以免發生危險。
(二)應選擇在設有合格救生員及救生設備之游泳池、海水浴場等從事水上活動，且從事活動前應充足熱身，勿過於激烈活動或超過身體負荷，降低溺水風險。
(三)聽從活動指導人員指示，不可擅自脫離團隊，若發現落單戲水或於危險水域從事水上活動者，應勸導或通知相關單位處理。
(四)學會水中自救及記住救溺五步：叫叫伸拋划，確保自身安全，倘發現有人溺水，應先撥打電話報案，不可冒然下水。
