一、 該校越南研究中心自2017年起開辦「國際越南語能力認證」考試，依照CEFR標準且符合越南教育部於2015年9月1日（So: 17/2015/TT-BGDDT）公布的越南語認分級標準，共分為三階六級（3 cap 6 bac），分別為A1（基礎級）、A2（初級）、B1（中級）、B2（中高級）、C1（高級）及C2（專業級）。目前已獲教育部及國外許多大學越南學系承認，譬如越南國家大學（河內及胡志明市）、河內大學、越南社科院、越南文化藝術院、順化大學、美國哈佛大學、澳洲國立大學、日本大阪大學等學校，為全世界最多單位採認的越南語認證。
二、 該中心自2017年12月起增加國立高雄大學越南研究中心及2019年10月起增加國立暨南大學東南亞研究中心為合辦單位。
三、 該中心將於2021年12月4日（六）辦理「2021秋季國際越南語能力認證」，網路報名時間為2021年9月15日至10月20日，簡章及相關報名資訊等詳情，請至該中心官方網站查詢：https://cvs.twl.ncku.edu.tw/。
